Wow.. Maybe one day the top luxury brand in America will build something as high quality as a Hyundai.

The DT7 is precisely the sort of flagship car Cadillac needs to be considered a legitimate player in the luxury segment, a car that should play with Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Lexus LS 460, and-yes-Hyundai's astounding new Genesis sedan.

I'm surprised AND not surprised that the Genesis is being mentioned in the same breath as the 7 series, S class, and LS460. I've driven a 08 S class, and a 08 LS460L - both fairly extensively, quite a bit of seat time in the LS460 in fact. And I can HONESTLY say that the Genesis is just as good if not better in some ways. What a FANTASTIC car. I work in automotive industry and am absolutely in LOVE with what Hyundai has made here. I truly hope that Hyundai succeeds with this car and continues to build amazing cars like this in the future - in that case, I may drive nothing but Genesis' as daily drivers!

*In case you haven't figured it out, I picked up our Genesis this past Saturday. 5 days, 1000+ miles already, go figure

Congratulations on your new Hyundai Genesis, vishnus11! I'm a BIG fan of the new Mercedes S-Class and Lexus LS - as well as the BMW 7-Series. For Hyundai to be mentioned in the same sentence with cars like this is just amazing. I really wonder what a company like Lincoln or Cadillac could think being left out and replaced with Hyundai, who they were probably laughing about just a few years ago...
