  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok people here is my small build, more or less, on my modifications to 2015 5.0 Genesis.

I started out with a 2015 3.8 but really got a great deal on the 2015 5.0 I’ve always wanted.

Now that I have it I am doing my modifications.

Mod List
1. Partial Debadge of the rear. Removed everything but Wing - DONE
2. Window Tint - DONE
3. Custom Wheels - DONE (TSW Mirabeau | Front - 20x9 Offset + 30 | Rear - 20x10 | Offset +40)
4. Lowering Springs - ORDERED LOOKING FOR INSTALLER (ARK Lowering Springs)
5. Custom Rotors - DONE (Adams Rotors | Dimpled & Slotted - Please see my post here)
6. Custom Exhaust with Electronic Cutouts - STILL RESEARCHING
7. Painted calipers with Decal - DONE
8. Front Lip Kit - DONE

Assistance Needed:
1. Finding the right installer for ARK Springs.
2. Finding the right installer for custom exhaust system.

Thanks to Huddleston for the help and Aquineas for the V8 badge inspiration.

lbpuppy, one thing to consider if you haven't done it already is taking a hair-dryer to that dealer emblem on the back!

I think you missed his mod #1;) - must be a "before" pic?

nice! springs will make a huge difference!

I have my Ark Springs but now I am trying to find a person / business I can trust to install them. I know you did them but this project I feel I can't do myself. Plus my wife has been cool with the mods I don't want to scare her by doing something wrong.

What type of installer should I deal with? Any recommendations to look for?

info on the paint and decal you used for the calipers? G2 caliper paint? thanks... looks good...

Where are you located? Lowering springs shouldn't be too difficult for a mechanic or performance shop to install.

If only the rear brakes were as big as the front and your style of wheel really shows the difference in rotor sizes front to rear on this car. Makes me wonder if the coupe Brembo retrofit is possible on the DH body style. Not being as familiar with the newer body styles I'm not sure if the brembo rotors are larger in the rear or not. Car looks good but it will look even better once you drop it a bit.

I too was struck by the difference in brake size between the front and rear.

Really nice mods so far! I would like to see a pic of that front lip also.

I am near Macon,GA. 60+ miles from ATL. I was thinking of taking it to Butler Tire in ATL but if I can find someone closer near me I'd go there.. Just trying to avoid dealing with a mechanic who is not familiar with a car like this or someone who can show me they have professional history of lowering a car.

Is that the EZ lip kit? I need to get one of those, doesn't look too bad installed. I scraped wayy too much. Thanks for posting it man!
