Only the outer portion is painted.

Right, that's what I meant. Was curious if it was paint/vinyl/dip. Definitely looks good though. I was thinking of something similar, also including all of the other silver window trim. I like the look of the stock grille, so I don't know if blacking out the whole thing would be an improvement, but doing the trim like that works for me.

It is dip. Black then Glossifier. I know some here frown on using it but when done right it does and looks great.

Yeah I've got no problem with it when it's done right - gives you the option to change things up on the cheap.

I don't see the V8 badge. It must be that little spec on the passenger side. They should make it the size of the 5.0 rear badge so it can be "in your face" kind of deal.
