  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thanks to everyone for your great information on this forum. I learned a lot about the Genesis, and for the 3 year lease it was a very pleasant car to drive. There's no doubt you get a lot of car for the money with the Genesis compared to competitors.

My greatest appreciation for this car was how quiet it generally was. I'm a classical musician (but an EE which allowed me to pay for the privilege), and the ability to listen to the dynamic range of the music while traveling at 70+ mph was a great pleasure. Even with the base sound system, classical music was enjoyable.

I took a 4000 mile trip in the spring with the car, and really enjoyed it (MN to CA and back), as much for the car as for getting away from work for over 2 weeks. :D

Good luck to everyone in their rides. To quote part of an old Irish blessing:
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back."

Glad your proud of it,

What's going to be the next one ?

Just got my Genesis a couple weeks ago and I really enjoy it. You might want to check out something like the Jaguar XF. The body style is the same age as the outgoing Genesis body, but it still looks fresh just like the Genesis does. That's the benefit of getting a car that doesn't sell in high numbers. I just got rid of my Jaguar XF-R, it was wonderful but too small. "We" got pregnant around 4 months after I leased the Jag and it was a bit too small for kids and such. But otherwise it was wonderful.

Good luck on your next chapter of car nirvana:)
