Leather – has wrinkles

2019 g90 ultimate.

Noticed that once it got cold my dash has wrinkles in it.

Anyone had this issue before?

Looks like it is delaminating. I've seen at least one mention of this in the forum (specifically on a G90 I believe), along with a mention that it was resolved under warranty after a long battle.

I absolutely love this car but it's still a car.

Very common on the 90 as it ages - especially if it was parked outside. Over half of the ones I had been watching online sales from 17-19 had issues - usually right around the HUD or the speaker. If you get the runaround on warranty replacement you can have an interior shop recover it fairly inexpensively - and correctly.

I dropped my 2020 G90 at my dealer (Genesis of Cool Springs, Franklin, TN) just yeserday to replace the dash pad that is delaminating just like in the pic above. Just got it in before the 5 year warranty expired. Should be finished in a few days, and I got a G70 as a loaner.

That is one of the changes from 20 to 21 they no longer use natural leather and replaced with a fake leather to eliminate this. It is a known issue and covered under warranty.

much like rick3243 said. Very common to leather dashes...th LT3 corvette very known for this.....as well as very high end brands. Chevy gives you a one time warranty claim not sure about genesis. Someone also mentioned interior shop and that is where many corvette folks have gone.

UPDATE: My dash pad was replaced and they (Genesis of Cool Springs, Franklin, TN) did a great job. They had to keep the car longer than expected as a part got scratched during reassembly, and they stopped right there until the part arrived. Did not want to reassemble and then disassemble again to avoid potential rattles, etc. I had a G70 loaner, so no big deal. They hand washed and detailed the car (vacuum stripes in the carpet!) prior to me picking it up yesterday. AAA+++ service!
