If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hey ya'll,

Just wanted to share the e-bay site that I bought my "key glove" from. After dropping my first key 20 feet off some bleachers onto the concrete below and watching the key shatter, I knew I had to get something to protect it, but at the same time still have it look stylish.

Bought this off ebay:

and am loving it, just wanted to share with those of you looking into protecting your key, and the price wasn't bad either at $9.

Is there a Genesis or Hyundai emblem on it? Or just plain? I've looked into the ones from Korea, but they were way overpriced.

Never mind... I ordered one. LOL

Thanks for sharing!

Any stitching of any kind? Genesis or Hyundai emblem on it? Or just plain?

I've looked into the ones from Korea, but they were way overpriced.

stitching on outer "genuine leather", felt interior with no visible stitching, no flying H or Genny wing. Fits like a glove, and not $45-80 bucks like the KDM ones. Also easy to use with the key. Includes a leather carry strap too.

I recommend for the price.

Yeah, I edited my post. Just bought one. Thanks again - key alone keeps slipping out of my pocket when wearing work pants. Do you use the strap?

yea this helps with key falling out of my back pocket too, also helps with the marks the key would normally get with reg use such as putting it down on the counter with other keys attached or dropping it. Did the "OJ Simpson method" and lightly wet it then put it in the dryer for 10 mins to tighten up the fit a bit, now im thourougly satisfied with the way it fits. Not using the strap, I have a lanyard attached.

I got this model a few years back and it still looks like new after 2 years. Much higher price but nicer quality. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYUNDAI-Bra...Leather-Key-Case-/280464909635#ht_3599wt_1180

The quality of the $9 is just fine for my purposes, which is to protect the key..do you have to remove the key each time to depress the buttons on this model? If thats the case, that defeats the purpose for me, thats when I usually drop the key, when fumbling with it. The OP "glove" stays on the key all the time and you are still able to use it as you normally would.

Just bought the $9 also.

Thanks for the info!!

Piggly Wiggly? Oh my. I'm afraid to ask. You're from NJ and you're already using "ya'll" Oh my. :) I'm thinkin' with that Joisey accent you ain't foolin' too many Southerners. ;)

LOL, I get a chuckle out of people's reactions when me, with my heavy yankee accent uses words such as "ya'll" and "yonder"...but its all in good fun!

Staz,
I noticed that in your posts. I am up in Little River about 5-6 months a year. Had occasion last summer to have car serviced at Myrtle Beach Hyundai. Nice enough folks to deal with.

Tom
