  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does your car smell like it really has a leather interior?

I've got the "ultra-premium" leather on my 2011 and there is almost no leather smell at all. In fact, almost no "new car smell" of any kind. Not that that's a particularly bad thing, but . . . my 11 year old BMW Z3 still smells (mm .. ) like (beautiful saddle brown) leather inside.

Just curious . .

My Wife's 2007 G35 still has the great leather smell, but my premium leather Genesis Sedan has no leather odor.

I suspect it has to do with the tanning process, but I miss the smell, too. For what it's worth, my 2004 VW Phaeton had ultra "sensitive touch" leather, but never had the leather odor, either.
