  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hmmm...sorry nobody replied. All I can say is that, like the HiD 'craze' that occurred several years, ago, where any number of cheap, substandard light 'kits' and bulbs were being flooded in from China, just be judicious in what hardware you buy. Cheap is 'cheap' for a reason.

Another issue I know of is heat. LEDs oft times don't generate enough HEAT to melt ICE and snow (I have a few friends who are truckers and have related tales of woe about truckers who've switched to LEDs, and then had to drive thru ice storms and blizzards and the LEDs on their tail and brake lights don't melt snow and their headlights ice up...so that's one more concern. Depending on your location and the type of LED assemblies you get, you could get enough heat to barely melt ice and snow, or maybe enough to do it, or not enough. It's basically a crap shoot.
