license plate bulb mod

I am trying to install the led festoon bulbs to replace OEM bulbs for the license plate.I removed the two screws that hold the lense in place but I can not get the lense off.After the screw removal the assembly is loose,but the lense refuses to budge.Any tips would be welcome.Also,are the bulbs 31 or 36 mm?,and are the trunk bulbs the same.

I have made the mod to the trunk, license plate, glove box and the bottom of the door puddle lights. The plate lights do come out you have to be patient and fool with them but the whole assembly will drop out. I was able to get the side close to the camera to drop down and was able to pull the complete housing out.
At that point you can disconnect the housing from the wiring by pressing on the connector release button.

2 TRUNK= 3710-XHP6
2 PLATE= 3710-XHP3
1 GLOVE BOX= 3710-XHP3
4 PUDDLE= WLED-XHP (THESE ARE Polarized bulb IF AT FIRST THEY DON'T WORK TURN THEM 180deg AND REINSERT THEM.

I did get the lense loose and access to the bulb,no problem.I have one
question regarding the price of the 6418 led,s.Advance auto has them in stock
they are 12.99 each.They are Sylvania brand.I saw on the forum that DDiodes
has them for 2.00 each.Are the Sylvania bulbs that much better? Does the 6418 also work for trunk lights?

I checked both sources,amazon 12.99. autoilumination 10.99.each bulb.
Why are they like 2.00 each at DDiodes? Has anyone used those.Just curious
as to why so much cheaper.
