  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys. It's been a while since my last post. Sorry I only post when having trouble with Ginny, but you guys have always been helpful in the past. So, here goes.
I let a friend borrow my car yesterday to go to the drug store yesterday and my car is still in a CVS parking lot. My friend called saying he could not get her started after parking at CVS, so me and a buddy went up there to see if we could figure it out. The key fob works at unlocking the doors. However, when I push the break and push the start button, the dash lights up and headlights come on, but the car does not crank. I tried the holding the start button for thirty seconds thing to no avail. I tried jumping the battery from the posts under the hood as well as directly to the battery in the trunk, no dice. So, I start checking fuses. I did find two blown fuses, Engine sensor 1 and engine sensor 2, and I replaced them. I then tried jump starting again from my buddies car and it cranked but did not start. It would not crank again afterwards, so I start going through the fuses again, and the same two engine sensor fuses were blown again. I am not very mechanically inclined and, Quite frankly, baffled. What gives...?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you gentlemen.

Does anyone there have AAA? I'd tow to a shop to inspect vs. possibly damaging more things.
