  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I feel like the Lane Keep Assist has been much worse after updating my head unit. I drive a 2019 Genesis G70 and there are multiple curves on my daily commute that the LKA used to take flawlessly, now it doesn't even attempt them. I'm not sure what's going on. I have ensured I have everything turned on and the setting set to full LKA.

Really? Hope that's not the case with my '23 (with '22 software, since '23s are not yet included), or I'd be very upset. Ha ha. Up to the last one, LKA was impressive; even better than my ex-2021 Tesla. I even tested it in a relatively tight curve at highway speed (with my thumb a millimeter away, of course:)), and it also worked flawlessly. Impressive.

Yeah, that's exactly how mine was until I updated November 15th.

Updates to the infotainment system do not affect the operation of the LKA, or brakes, or engine, or...

I have the current update and all the others since Aug 2019 when I bought the car. I use the LKA everyday and no problems since the last update. Sounds like you have something else wrong.

Is it worth it to update to the newest version? As of right now there is a new update available.

I have been driving '23 loaners for a few months. The LKA in my 2019 is impressive. Perfectly centered and smooth.

The '23's are twitchy and occasionally off-center. Not sure if this is a calibration issue, or they changed something.

My '23 was perfect since day 1, but forgot to check it last time I drove it. Hope that didn't change. I'll let you know when I remember to try it again.

I've only used LKA in my 23' a few times but from what I experienced, it is twitchy compared to my 2019. Now, my 23 is having issues with radar seeing a phantom car in front of me and activating collision avoidance -- so maybe once the dealer re-calibrates things it will be fixed..

Yeah, I noticed that too. And unfortunately, no. But you don't have to put your hands on the wheel; just touch it sideways and it's enough to reset it again.

I didn't think lka was something Genesis would update through this process. Just considering the safety of it all.
