  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Goooood day everybody I’ve had my Genesis 2013 r spec sedan for some time and have come across this problem where my key fob slowly starts to lose the signal to the car ( a week ago I could unlock from 10ft,a week later I have to be 5 feet closer..etc) so I’m at the point where I have to hold the fob to the handle for it to pick up a signal. Starting off of course I replaced the fob battery but to no avail. Now I need to know the location of the keyless entry system and if anybody has any insight on which antenna I should replace that would be appreciated. I see on the OEM part site there is multiple antennas that is either type 1,2, or 3.
Thank you genesis forums I hope we can resolve this issue soon.
