Like the title says this is a long shot but anyone on here know or have owned a 2015 genesis 5.0 in red in the Maryland DC area if so i might have bought your car. I was hoping they still had a spare key for it.

Damn I should try to find my 5.0 original owner for a spare key fob that is hopefully still in their possession. Better than spending a couple hundred dollars for a replacement if it does work out.

However, it will be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Have you checked with any online resources? You might be able to source a replacement faster than finding this original owner/lessee. Most keys go missing at auction.
