I am currently looking at a '15 Genesis with AWD - 101,000 miles. Having a '13 Genesis Coupe 3.8 currently, that car has been honesty quite reliable, but it also has significantly less miles on it (almost 70,000 now).
Is this something that I should steer clear of having such high miles? Are there any specific things on these cars to check before purchasing, especially knowing that it has over 100K miles?
Following the Genesis Coupe I know that those cars can be hit or miss - but it's usually completely dependent on the history of how the car was driven (ie. if someone drove it like a banshee or not). Are the engines / transmissions in the sedan and the coupe the same or similar? I am familiar with the GDI engines and carbon buildup in the intake valves, so I'd probably get those cleaned ASAP after I got it - standard chemical cleaning okay or walnut blasting?
