  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello
I'm looking for a good source for current Hyundai Lease Money Factors (buy rate) and residuals....I've looked at Edmunds and come up with some info but my dealer is telling me something different (not surprising but also not appreciated - they will lose my business over this if I find out they are marking up the MF)

Looking at Genesis R-Spec / I have circle pricing plus the current rebates

TIA

Chris

I had the same challenge a year ago when I leased my Genesis. I needed the residual and MF for my iPad app to calculate the lease. I found them on the forum titled "Hyundai Genesis Lease Questions" at edmunds.com and plugged in the numbers (I also used Circle Pricing plus the rebate). Felt pretty good walking into the dealership with my iPad and showing THEM the numbers for a change. The finance manager was floored by the experience (must not happen often). Good luck!

Just leased R-Spec on Monday. Lease rate for tier 1 credit is 0.00165 and the residual is 52% on 3 yr lease.

What are you paying, if you don't mind me asking?

$534.87 3yr lease with no money down. This payment does not include tax as I live in MD and was required to pay full tax upfront.

Hope this helps..

I suspect this will fall on deaf eyes, but the only people that should lease cars are those that can write them off as business expenses------and maybe that is the case here.

Otherwise, choose a car wisely (one that you can reliably drive for a while), put as much down as you can, and make payments until it's all yours. Then drive it some more and put money in the bank.

I made payments on my first new car (the 67 Vette) and have avoided them ever since. That is one of the reasons I was able to retire very comfortably at 63-1/2.

Thanks for the reply: I am familiar with the edmunds threads but still not coming up with much so the hunt continues; really odd in that over the years I have never had an issue quickly gathering this info for BMW, MB, Audi etc...thanks again

Check the forums at leasecompare.com. There's good stuff there last I checked.

Thanks for the reply....couldn't find anything solid there / but again thanks for taking the time to reply

OK that helps and is very close to the numbers I have been able to gather so far (but again still not finding the published rates from Hyundai) Please confirm:I assume 12k per year and this is through Hyundai financial

Not at all:

$42,889
*subtract $1,500 (for competitive rebate)
*subtract $1,500 (Hyundai lease cash)
*subtract $500 Motozuma

Adjusted Cap Cost = $39,389
