In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Does anyone know if there is a replacement position light in LED form factor? When I turn on the parking lights, I noticed that the front position lights have a flashlight look to them. They just look cheap. I'm looking for a blue LED.

A 1 WATT LED- I have super white- improves the look

This video shows the LED's I put in for the position lights on my car. Somewhat hard to see in this vid, but maybe worth a look.

Where did you buy these lights, and were you able to install them with minimum effort?

I buy my LED's at Autolumination.com and I would advise not to go cheap when it comes to bulbs. I spend around $8/bulb, but have never had a problem with any of the bulbs over $6. The cheaper ones around $2-$4 always seemed to go out, or flicker etc.

Make sure you buy bulbs that have a metal heat sink, for constant on applications, so the heat doesn't malfunction the bulbs.

The position lights pull out with a needle nose plyers pretty easy. Took just a few minutes to change them out.

Does it matter if it's 1 Watt vs 2 Watt?

I would like to know which bulbs you selected as well.
I suppose there was no problem with replacing the bulbs and having the flasher still work as expected?

There's a ton to choose from here: http://autolumination.com/194.htm

Here is something similar to what I have..

Just make sure the bulbs have a heat sink on them to protect against heat related failures. The description will inform you of this.

Something better that also has side-firing LED's to reflect much better off the lens:

Maybe I overlooked this part of the discussion, but mechanically how difficult is it to get to the bulbs? Are they just accessed from the engine bay or do you need to remove the lens cover?

They're pretty easy to get to just under the hood and maybe use a needle nose plyers and yank em' out. No need to remove any lens etc.

Here are my 1 WATT Super White LED position lights- installed for a year.
Love to add LED Super White REVERSE lamps if I can find right ones.
