  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any recommendations on getting the price down on a 3.3T RWD? Preferably sport. Am ok with leasing but would prefer buying. Can trade for about $1500-2000 and put down up to $7000 cash. For leasing, I’d prefer a $550 lease which could be possible with incentives, lease cash, etc.

Keep an eye on the thread about what people have paid for them. Also, check into getting circle A from a member mentioned in that thread when you reach the threshold to PM.

Just an example, I leased an AWD 2019 3.3T Sport for 569/mo on a 36/12 lease with $0 down payment, no trade. Only thing I paid was the first months payment and then put it on autopay.

So a 550 lease on a 2019 with the above mentioned trade and cash down is both doable and probably not that great of a deal. Estimating about $30/mo for every $1000 down, you'd be at around a $300 payment at $8,500 down ($1500 trade plus $7,000 cash).

However, if the money factors on the 2019 are still comically low, the effective interest is so low that you could put that down payment in pretty much anything with a slight interest rate and "beat" the interest rate on the lease.

Best bet.....wait for the 2020 to hit the lot. They will be giving the 2019 away.

Or at least threaten them that you WILL wait for the 2020....
