  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After last winter with my 13' R-spec I really need good snow tires this year. Im keeping the stock 19" wheels and the only thing I'm finding that comes close to to stock specs for the blizzak lm-60 is 225/40/19. Slightly smaller width and sidewall compared to stock.

Opinions?

If you have a chance, "downgrade" to 18's and get tires with taller sidewalls...I would.

Are you saying those OE all season Continental are that bad in snow?

The stock tires were really bad for me. Maybe I just had bad experiences with them. Several times I couldnt even get my car out of a parking spot when there was just 1-2 inches of snow.

I think I saw blizzak with a 50 series sidewall for 19" wheels....have to double check
