Took the car in last Saturday for this list of problems (and the car is still at the dealer):
1. Trunk struts feel as if they are blown. They don't assist in the opening or closing of the trunk in any way. Dealer said it was the wing that "I" put on but I told them it was the OEM wing that was on the car when I bought it. They are looking for some stronger struts.
2. Buzzing/vibration when driving. There's this fast vibration/buzzing that can be felt through the whole car. If I accelerate a little it goes away but as soon as I decelerate it comes back. I suspect the drive shaft. Dealer hasn't mentioned anything about that yet.
3. Clicking noise coming from the dash area where the windshield meets the dash on both the passenger and drivers side. It was very prominent during the summer but since it's turned cold I haven't heard it.
4. Car pulls to the right. They have done a few alignments in the past as well as swapping the front tires side-to-side but it never really was right. On a road with a lot of off camber bumps or bad road crown you have to fight the steering wheel to keep the car straight. None of my 4 other cars & trucks have this issue on the same road. It's no fun to drive any more. On Wednesday they called to say that they are still trying to fix it but have actually made it worse. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if they give up and say they can't fix it. I don't want the car if it will continue to pull to the right. And I don't want to shell out big bucks for a new performance suspension and wheels and tires just to try and correct a factory problem
5. On first start up in the morning there is a loud clunk/clank sound coming from the rear of the car (most likely the gas tank). I think it's either the tank expanding or collapsing slightly. It's pretty loud though. Oddly, since it's gotten cold I haven't heard it but it would do it every day during the summer.
6. When backing up out of my driveway and cranking the wheels hard left I hear a soft "thunk" sound like maybe there's a bad ball joint or something. Noise comes from the front passenger side of the car.
7. The sunroof interior sliding panel will start opening up during a long drive. I have to keep pushing it shut. I think there's a TSB on that one.
8. Having the automatic transmission cable TSB done before we get any snow.
9. The dash pad is peeling up by the passenger side defrost vent. The dealer is actually going to replace the entire dash pad. Won't be done until next week sometime.
10. The trunk squeaks really loudly when it's cold out. It's actually embarrassing because of how loud it is.
Oh, and I have 11,500 miles on the odometer. Technically I shouldn't have these problems until I'm much closer to 100,000 miles.
