  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Love Bugs are in full season in Florida right now. They have two seasons.
May and September.

May 2009; not too bad.
Sept. 2009; not too bad.
May 2010; not too bad.
Sept. 2010 (right now) wow, the air is full of them.

I see cars with their front and windshields loaded with them. As for me, I went to Orlando Hyundai this morning, and when I got back home, the Love Bug Screen I have across the front of my car is loaded with dead Love Bugs. I just leave them there for now. My windshield was also loaded, but I cleaned them off.

In past bad years, it seems that they all would pick my front porch to die and I would have to hose them off every two days. Think I may have to hose my front porch off tomorrow.

Don't know what a Love Bug is? Look it up in Google. Their only enemy is the automobile. Birds don't eat them. They don't bite, so they are just a PITA, but they sure make a mess.
