Low tire alert

Received this alert today LF was down 5lbs...was aware of it for the last few days though it went no lower, actually went up a couple of lbs after driving and heating the tires up.
Sooo the warning finally popped up today now I need to reset the warning lites after putting air in the tire.
Was assuming they’d go out automatically on filling the tire or need I just wait awhile and they’ll eventually reset by themselves.

Should adjust as soon as you drive. What pressure did you put in? I always run 35 and the two times I had a light, that put it out. You may have to go slightly over for whatever tolerance is built in.

As an aside, one day I had my car in the driveway and the sun was rather bright and hitting one side of the car. When I took off I checked the pressure and the sun side was 3 psi higher. Leveled out quickly though.

Think my gauge read 37lbs..... others were at I believe 32, I’ll drive her tomorrow and readjust as necessary.

I run 36 cold which results in 38 fully warmed up. When I ran less, I got uneven tire wear, mostly on the outside edges. Give it a good number of miles before you try to diagnose the warnign light, it has to build some confidence in the sensor reading.

I don't know how universal this is, but I have a high end tire pressure gauge so I can set them exactly, and have found the pressure sensors on my car are all dead on accurate.

Well,been driving it for 3 days now and the warning indicators are still on....due for an oil change TUE so will have the dealership check it our.
