  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We just bought my wife a 2024 GV80 Prestige Signature with the 22’s. We would like to lower it 2”. Not having any luck with springs or coil over kit.
Any help appreciated

Your GV80 has an electronically tunes suspension. Do not think you will find an aftermarket lowering kit unless you give up the current electronically tuned suspension.

FWIW, only the Prestige trim has the electronic suspension.

Yes, this is true and his is a Prestige with 22" tires.

If all you're changing out is the springs then it shouldn't be a problem with the adaptive suspension. I've lowered both my R8s with H&R Sport Springs (both cars had the magnetorheological shocks) with zero ill-effects. Your ride might end up a little bit harsher. The real problem is finding someone who makes springs for the GV80. Maybe M&S has them, I haven't looked.

Any updates with OP, or anyone else who’s following this ?

Any update on this? Purchased a gv80 and am looking to do the same thing. Just want to close the wheel well gap a bit.

The 2.5t prestige has ECS as well

my understanding was that the suspension adjusts in the V6 model---doesn't have to be Prestige?
The suspension adjusts based on irregularities in the road surface ahead as visualized in the front camera, softening and firming the shock absorbing to optimize the ride. It doesn't do anything about ride height AFAIK.

You are correct. The active suspension adjusts the ride quality. Not the ride height.
