  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Recently it seems when navigating through the menu or media everything freezes for a few minutes. It seems like the display itself is running slow and/or frozen. Are there any ways to fix this? Restarting car doesn't seem to fix the issue.

PS Also seems certain controls like fan high or low/off/on will kick off the slowness or freezing, whereas remaining in media center doesn't.

You can try a reset of the system. There is a small hole in the front panel near the CD slot on the right. Push with a paperclip of ball point pen to reset

Unfortunately issue still remain, I wonder if it needs to clear cache or something.

You’d need to get into engineering mode and check these numbers.

How do I do that?
If you have the tech package and can get into engineering mode without using GDS, please let me know. I have spent several man-hours trying to crack the 4 number PIN, to no avail.

Ok to update everyone, I was able to fix the issue, costs me nothing. Downloaded update from Hyundai, put it on a USB and updated. Drove around for an hour or so and everything works.
