  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Are there any medal paddle shifters made for the Genesis or that are available after-market that will fit? Of all the things on the interior that they chose the right material on, these being a cheap plastic (not even the nice TPU type plastic), I want to replace them. Thanks in advance!

no.

given that the aftermarket offerings are very limited for higher demand items like springs, coilovers, performance and aesthetic items I am going to go out on a limb and say that absolutely no one is currently manufacturing replacement paddle shifters for the G2.

We have paddle shifters :D Our tranny is so smooth and responsive, we don't need them.

Yeah why this car was given with 3 methods of shifting I will never understand.

Probably because the auto press would have all criticized Hyundai if they had not included them.

I know of a guy on a motorcycle site I visit that fabricates metal parts. I'll get in touch w/ him and ask if he's interested in making some. He does really skilled work for a reasonable price.

I'm sure he would need an example or technical drawing to make these.

For some us (me included) it is an essential part of enjoying / exploring the driving limits / dynamics of any given vehicle :D.

I was a whisker away from buying 2015 because of this very item, the only thing that stopped me was the extra weight of 5.0 Ultimate, which made it IMO marginally less athletic than the R-Spec.

At Least Hyundai listened to our complaints and fixed most of our gripes throughout the years, which included, the shifter, TCS full disable, being able to control audio head unit, by both touch and dial controller, the overall ride dynamics among other things.

The car shifts so slow when using the manual mode I don't even bother with them.

I get faster results in sport mode
