  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Folks - I'm a newbie here; I picked up my Titanium V8 Tech last week, and I'm loving it. I've been haunting this site for months while I shopped, and appreciate everyone's input and comments - definitely helped me decide on the Genesis (formerly Volvo XC70 owner). I've a question I'm hoping someone can help me out with though - I cannot figure out how to convert my climate settings to metric. Fuel economy is metric, but all of the temp settings are all imperial. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Right from page 4-89 in the owners manual: ;)

"While pressing the MODE button, depress the DUAL button for 3 seconds or more. The display will change from Fahrenheit to Centigrade, or from Centigrade to Fahrenheit. "

Cheers and enjoy your new Genesis! Hope you love it as much as I do :D

Ahhah! Thanks Burlington. And here I searched 'Convert' several times in the manual and came up with nothing. Regards, J

No problemo.

Welcome aboard, Mr. Mitten! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Hyundai Genesis!

Thanks for the tip! I'm Canadian so this will work for me too.

Does anyone know how to convert the fuel economy display from metric to Imperial?

I would like to know this also. It has been very easy to switch between the two on previous vehicles. There must be a way on the Genesis.
