Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Mirror, mirror, on my car, how I wonder what you are, AND WHY YOU DON'T WORK!!!

Well, the new year has arrived and so has the replacement mirror. Installation was a snap, BUT: they go up and down, left and right with the manual switch, BUT when you place the trans in reverse, both mirror go down, but place the trans in a forward gear, and the right one stays dow. However, it will come up if you ask it manually. So, now we lock the car! Nothing on the right side. The left folds, the right does not. GOT ANOTHER MIRROR, TRIED IT, SAME THING! Any thoughts out there? The beast is a 2013 Gene Sedan.
