Looks like Mobil 1 is running another rebate promo to the end of October. And another promo for a free movie ticket.

Can you get more than one rebate if you buy enough oil?

Do they run these promos all the time? Oil changes are getting cheaper!

Thanks for the post. I got all excited until I started digging into the details. The rebate is available only if the product is purchased at "a participating retailer". The only retailers that I could find in my area are Target and Napa. So for me it broke down like this:
Target- $8.39/qt (no 5 gal available) x 5 = $41.95 less the $12. rebate equals $29.95
Napa - $39.99 less the $12 rebate equals $27.99

I just bought a 5 gallon jug for $25.47 at my local Walmart. This is their everyday price, not a special price.

And naturally Walmart isn't on the Mobile 1 list of participating retailers. Oh well. But thanks again anyway. Maybe others have participating dealers in their areas that will result in a savings compared to Walmart.

Send in for the promo anyway. Others have posted that they accepted receipts from Walmart also on previous promos, even though Walmart is not listed.

I just submitted a rebate request and sent along my Walmart receipt. I suppose the worst they can say is no.

Almost thought Mobil 1 forgot about me and then 2 checks for $12 each showed up in the mail. Sweet! The current promotion is a customized license plate frame.
