  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 4.6 with 75,000 miles. I have had numerous electrical issues for the whole time I have owned the car. It's a shame, but I love the car and my check engine light came on the other day and I brought the car to coconut creek hyundai in Florida and they found 14 electrical problems associated to my check engine light going off. They have been going back and forth with Hyundai of America trying to figure out the problems and I was told that this has become very time consuming for the dealership. I have a pos Elantra to drive around. The car is almost paid off but this car is definitely a lemon. I like the way the 2015 Genesis looks but I also love to keep a car until it dies plus it's almost paid off. The 2015 from what I've read almost daily on this forum, is far from trouble free as its a new car. Risky just like the pos I currently have. I'm thousands over what I paid for my extended warranty, and I still have a year and a half until it expires. What do you think I should do?

If a dealer told me that, I'd be looking for a new dealer.

Extended warranty????

I'm covered for everything (including Lexicon) until 2024. (less than 10,000 miles a year)

Keep it until the warranty runs out and get another car. Sounds like you had a lemon.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I have been to coconut creek hyundai and have had better luck with them than rick case hyundai dealership. Talk to Tom service adviser maybe he can help you.

But, don't forget, the forum is mostly for complaints - and people looking for solutions - so that's what you see. And a lot of the "complaints" relate to "software" issues relating to things like cell phones, Sirius, etc.

My 2015 Genesis has worked perfectly since Day One. There were the two recalls for tail lights and tires, but that went off flawlessly.

Or, if you could travel a little to Palm Beach County, go to Napleton's in West Palm Beach:

But before you go, let me know so I can get you directly to the best guy...

That's a little weird (to say the least) that a dealership is just going to let you continue to deal with your issues because it's taking too much time for their dealership to help you. That sounds a little crazy.
