Multiple issues with 2011 4.6 sedan

We have a 2011 Genesis sedan 4.6 we are currently on our 3rd set of tires with only 35000 miles on the car. We had to buy our 2nd set but forced dealer to buy 3rd set. In addition to ongoing alignement problems causing tires to wear, we are and have had problems with a squeak and rattle coming from the rear of the car. It is VERY annoying and for a $40K plus car unacceptable. The car has been in for service for both issues 9 times now. One time they had the car for 2 weeks. Now in addition to these problems we are having issues with the headlights turning off randomly. Even with the lights on manual they will turn off for 5 to 10 seconds and then back on. We have contacted the Genesis Customer service center and have requested a buy back. We have not heard a decision yet. We love all the good parts of the car. But cannot keep buying tires and will not listen to a LUXURY car squeak and rattle and the headlights is a major safety concern.

Anyone else experience these issues?

None here and have over 76k on my 2011 4.6. Other than the first set of Dunflops that where gone in 18,000 miles I get 40,000 plus on a set of tires.

No - haven't experienced any of these, or any other problems. Your kind of situation and others much worse than yours are what lemon laws and buy-backs are designed to remedy. Good luck!

Experienced a squeak coming from rear sometime ago. Dealer packed silicone grease at top of rear shock stops on both sides and issue was resolved.

I have a 2011 4.6 sedan also and lucky have not experienced this problem. In fact I have had zero issues with the car so far.

Car has been to dealer 11 times now with the same problem. rear tires wearing prematurely and squeek and clunk coming from rear suspension. The last time the DPSM met us there and he assurred me this would be resolved. Well 2 months later and the car is doing it again and tires are wearing way faster than they should. 37000 miles and have gone through 4 sets of tires. NOW on top of that the stearing locks up in curves and you have to turn wheel back the other way to free it up THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I paid too much money for a car to be having this many serious problems.

Before you stated 3 sets of tires in 35k miles now you say 4th set in 37k miles, what's really going on? What area is wearing on the tires? Do you haul items in your trunk? Have you taken car to a diffferent dealer that may have a better Service Dept.? What brand and name of tires have you used and If the tires were wearing so fast did you go to the tire dealer to have the issued addressed and covered under warranty?
