  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That actually looks very good. I never thought I'd appreciate charcoal as a color, but that looks awesome clean.

Great looking car! Of course it's silver too so it's faster than the other colors. Parisian Gray is slightly darker than Titanium; about halfway between Platinum and what I would consider a "charcoal" dark metallic gray.

The 2012-2014 body style looks better than the 2015, which has the ass of a Sonata on steroids and the bastard child face of an Audi-FordFusion one night stand.

I had a black 2014 base v6 loaner for 2 days this week and everyone at work was "ooh-ing" and "aah-ing" at how great it looked. It really is a fine looking ... and classic ... body style that will say "in" for many many years. It also was quite fun to drive, nice firm suspension vs the 2009's bounce, and the v6 had a LOT of butt-dyno giddyup -- VERY close in performance off the line to my 4.6. It had none of the transmission shift lag present in the early 2012s. And was much more sporty-fun to drive than the 2015 v6 I test drove a few weeks back, which felt sluggish and heavy by comparison.

Front license plates ruin cars.

I disagree, unless your state doesn't require one and you opt for a Confederate Flag.

Also, not even close to as bad as what Hyundai did to the 2015 Genesis front end.

She's looking good!

Yep, I agree.....I have no love for 2015 either.

Looks great! Thinking of doing the front badge thing, your car definitely makes me want to do it.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I never get tired of looking at clean RSpec pics.

Did you notice a big difference with the Pirelli's?

I put them on immediately, so I cannot comment much on the difference. I bought them mainly because they are top in their 'Grand Touring All Season' class for dealing with Snow and Ice. I leave for winter for 2-3 months of the year, so I didn't want dedicated snow tires, but I still have some winter to put up with.

My wife has Continental Extreme Contact DWS on her 2011 Genesis and they made a world of a difference in the snow. The Pirellis are supposed to be even better.

Very nice! Enjoy! No Paisian Gray here as there were no 2014s. We already had the heated steering wheel in 2013 cause of our ridiculously cold weather.

However, I am not quite sure whether your Parisian Gray runs as fast as the Titanium Gray. Maybe a very very close second! lol:D

I really like that color! Very nice looking!

When I bought my '13 R spec, my dealer had 3 to choose from, ALL in platinum. I was hoping for white because it was a beautiful pearl unlike the '14. They told me white was gonna be hard to find in a left over '13.

What the heck, I went ahead and took a test drive and was hooked. Had to have one NOW! Did my eeny-meeny-miney-mo and picked the one in the middle of the pack.

4 months into the love affair and all is well. Haven't seen one in your color. The darker silver (charcoal) is georgous.

Hope you enjoy yours for a long while. I know I do every time I hit that button.

I believe the titanium is only 2014 color. I got a platinum 2013 too.

Shhhhh.....this thread is about our brother's '14 beauty.

We secretly know that Platinum is the fastest R spec color. Besides, we can pull a pic of our cars from anywhere since the show cars were all Platinum.

Black is always faster. I thought everyone knew that! :) :D

Yeah yeah.....keep on dreaming :D
