  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Went into garage and attempted to start the car...lights flaqshed all over the place. Called Dealer and he said battery low...So I charged it up and jumped it off with my Elantra...Now get CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK...so I assume it is not the battery but the starter...Goody....AND no matter how many times I change the remote battery it says Key Fob battery low!!! This 2015 bought May 5 2014 has 8000 miles on it! 8000 only!!! HELP

At 4 years it could be the battery, but it can also be a loose or corroded connection either at the battery or further down the line. Check both positive and ground. It is not miles, but time that causes things like that.

My 2015 genesis sedan had a bad box on the positive terminal and could not be tightened. Had to be replaced.
