  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I used 3m 2080 glossy black wrap. It costs about $12.99 for each 5' x 1' section. I got a 5' x 4' to also do the part on either side of the sunroof. Note that section is 5' 2" SMH. But, I did the pillars and my front lip because it had scratches from the previous owner.

They are not as glossy as factory but they don't look out of place. The wrap last up to 8 years outdoors. It's easy to do and the material is very forgiving

Just to let you guys know that there are cheap, fast, and easy options to fix that problem.

I just got a 2018 G80 and it was in excellent condition except for the B Pillar is scratched. Looks like this could be a great solution!

I use a similar method to cover my scratched pillar trim with black carbon fiber 3M DiNoc pillar covers. The cool thing is that DiNoc has the textured feel of real carbon fiber as well and look matt black until you see it from an angle in the light.

The 3M DiNoc still look good after two years.

It's the fastest and easiest way to fix the problem. I'm going to do the roof pieces next. I don't know why they scratch so easily.

good stuff! I used rvinyl's custom cut kits for my pillars. Im looking to do something similar to the splitter and top of front bumper cover if possible, hyundai/gen paint is horrible.
