  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Genesis GV60
New here.
I hunted down the exact GV60 I wanted and found it on the opposite end of the country. After a month + of negotiating the buying and delivery process, it finally arrived.
I love it. I have read the entire owners manual. Now to sort out accessories.

This is my first EV, though my partner has a Rivian so we already had a home charger.

The first car I bought was Hyundai Tiburon, back in 2001. I loved that car. When it eventually got old enough that I wanted to replace it, I almost got the first Genesis. I can't remember now why I didn't.

I'm a bit sad the GV60 forum is so quiet. Maybe it'll pick up a bit when the new model year comes out.

It replaced a 2012 VW Golf R with several mods including a chip, intake, exhaust and suspension.

I chose the GV60 because it was about as close in size as I could get with a hatch, and the Performance has equivalent power. Moving away from that car had me worried about feeling like I was in something gutless. So far, I am not disappointed. Obviously it feels different, but when I say go it goes and it feels amazing.

Yes, the Golf R is quite nice! Always has been. But the GV60 is a nice, natural progression. You've got some added luxuries as well. Enjoy the heck out of it! :)
