My music does not mute when the voice navigation kicks in??? Why not??

I am the proud owner of a new Genesis 2015. I have clicked the option of having the music mute when the navigation system gives me a voice prompt, but it does not do this very well. It does lower the music a bit, but not enough to actually hear the voice prompt in any meaningful way. Should the music not mute completely?

Have you turned up the navigation volume? I suspect that is the culprit. You can do this via the menu while in nav or via the volume control(s) when the nav voice is speaking.

Mark is correct. I had that problem before because I heard the Nav sound seems to be low compared with the music. Being said this, yes , you need to turn the nav volume up. I used 15 to 20.
