My new Gen. with the tech. package

I just leased a Genesis V6 with the tech. package, blk./blk. I just turned in my 2005 745i off lease. My Bm'er deal who I have a twenty year relationship was quite upset, but he could not persuade me stay with the 7 after I told him I can buy two genesis's for the loaded price of the new 7's.
I think the Gen is as fine a ride as the 745, except quieter! The Lexicon sound is as great as my audiophile equipment I have at home. The black interior is top notch. I can't wait to take it out crusing for a day. Eveyone stairs when they see it. They must be thinking what is it??? I love it!

Congrats! From your user name, it sounds like you might be tooling 'round the Twin Cities. If so, keep your eyes open for another Blk/Blk Tech Genesis in the SW suburbs. I picked mine up nearly three weeks ago, and I haven't seen another one on the road yet! As for dealers, the gang at Motorwerks BMW weren't too happy with me, either, as they lost a long-time customer to Hyundai...

Any reason why you chose the V6 over the V8? I'm guessing timing, but maybe not?
I love my V6, but it seems most enthusiasts seem to prefer the V8 (at least on the message boards)

In any case, I hope it treats you well!

I certainly havent seen another one on the road. With less than 2,000 retailed so far nationwide that is not surprising...

Welcome aboard, mn778! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Hyundai Genesis! Wow! You replaced a BMW 7-Series, huh? Can you imagine? Who ever thought people who replace a top-of-the-line BMW with a Hyundai? Times have certainly changed...

Mn778: Congrats on your Genesis, I myself also returned a 2006 BMW 530I which cost about $13,000 more than my Genesis and with at least 5 extras less. I got the Blck/Saddel with the Tech. Pckg. I think I got the deal of a lifetime - Oh! and I am paying less a month.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I love mine.
