Great video Patrick! Good point about blindfolding someone and they will not be able to tell the difference between the Genesis and BMW, sooooo true it's all about the badge. For the money, it is a solid luxury option.

If you like unfixable, rattling pano roofs, it's great - and, if you are truly honest, there are clear trade-offs associated with the lower price of the Genesis - starting with fit and finish, quality of materials and switch gear and extending to the purchase and service experience at Hyundai dealers... while the ride quality is good, if you took the blindfold off, you would quickly see what you are in.

Of course there are trade offs, but is it really worth the extra $15000? or more?

I have zero problems with mine so far, no sunroof rattles, or anything, maybe i've gotten a lucky one!

I have a 2015 Genesis and I think the fit and finish is very good. Love the real wood and the dash controls feel real good. Once they get stand alone Genesis dealerships these cars will become more mainstream luxury cars.
I wouldn’t pay $15000 just for a different badge or for poorer reliability like Mercedes and BMW and much more expensive repairs.
