  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This morning upon starting my 2015 Genny, the clock (both of them) decided to go ahead exactly one hour. Since it is not daylight savings time today, I wonder if anyone else has had this happen.I'm hoping simply resetting the clock will take care of the problem this time???

Did you change Time Zones?
If your Clock is set via the GPS System (option in Settings) then it will change if you travel into a different time zone.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Nope....no changes in location. Eastern time zone for the past 3 months that I have the car! Weird!

Took me an hour to figure this one out. You have to go into your clock settings and turn off daylight savings. This will change your time back an hour.

That was it. Thanks so much KDM. I have no idea why that would happen on Jan 6th as opposed to when daylight savings begins, but whatever! Another interesting bit of Hyundai technology!

FYI this is never supposed to happen on it's own. When we change to or from DST, you need to go into the settings and change this manually. Only explanation is you checked it unknowingly on Jan 6th or there is a bug in the system. Time will tell, pun intended. :D

So we have to change the hour manually? Any other device I have has the ability to do this automatically.

Yes you have to manually check and un-check the Daylight Time box each time you change to/from DST.

I think I recall this happening on my 2013 Azera once... can't remember when exactly.
