  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Unfortunately the Gen has the highest expected depreciation. The V8 probably depreciates faster. Maybe leasing is the best option.

The Lexus ES "agressive and sexy" - that's funny!

I can't wait for the 32% depreciation so I can get one used :D

I've only seen one on autotrader so far that was used and it had the wing badges and wheel hubs too, I was wondering if it was a member from here selling it.

Flip over to the "bad suspension" forum. Looks like at least a couple of owners looking to dump! May be a deal there to be had!:D

I think they're wrong.
I just don't see that happening.

32% depreciation in year 1 for the Gen? My lease say the residual value is 46% after 4 years! I think they got it all wrong.

It will be interesting to see who is right in 2 or 3 years on residuals. H has the risk if you lease. You have the risk if you buy. Interesting that H subsidised the lease rather than encourage folks to buy them.

Honestly I don't think it'll drop that much. There aren't enough of them around and the ones I have seen used, a couple with around 4,000 miles or so were still listed in the middle $30's.
