  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I started my car this morning after being parked for a couple of hours the Nav/Audio displayed only the Hyundai splash screen. AM/FM and XM played correctly, but the screen display did not change. USB did not work, and the nav screen did not display when I pressed the map button. I restarted the car several times with no success, then parked again for about 30 minutes. When I then started the car again the display worked correctly. This must be some sort of transient glitch - does anybody know of any related reports or TSB's?

This is a known issue and I think finally a TSB exists for it, typically it's the Amplifier-XM unit going bad. If you simply shut the car off it will not fix the problem, but after the car sits for 10+ minutes everything "corrects" itself. They replaced mine twice in the span of 1.5 years, since the last replacement all has been working well.

You wouldn't by any chance know the TSB number, or have your work ticket? Maybe I could use that to point my dealer in the right direction.
