  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Navdy - A HUD for Everyone?

Now this is fascinating. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Interested but query: does it ONLY project directly in front of navdy machine? I have compromised eyesight and a primary reason i am going to buy a car with an HUD is to have LESS between me and the road and I'm already vertically-challenged ( ;) ). so navdy would be dangerous for me if it must be right in front of me.

Yes the Navdy projects onto its own internal flip up screen. So that means it could (in theory) be positioned anywhere as long as it's facing the driver.

I just came across this today. Looks like a good way to get a HUD without buying a '15 Genesis with one. It also provides many functions that the built-in doesn't. My biggest concern would be leaving it in plain view on the dash, which would make it a tempting target to steal.

Way too big to plop on the dashboard.
