Navigate problems - have a few questions..

OK - am completely stumped and have been trying for 2 weeks! I want to enter several addresses so that when I am ready to drive to that destination, I can simply navigate there. How do I do this? I can use voice or do it manually but need the steps to do this and how to save this info as well.
I see it seems to save addresses as #1, #2 etc., is there any way of changing this? How do I remember what number belongs to what address?

Its best to go through the manual and study a lot. My wife and I studied the manuals and made a game of who could find out new stuff and how to operate it.
We spent about a month learning the tech in the car. So take your time and have fun with it, but use the manuals. Also, I downloaded a pdf of the manuals into my Android phone in case I forget how to do something, then its a quick word search to get an answer.

I had the same question shortly after buying my Gen. I soon found that the manual explains how to do it. Go to page 261 and you will find out how to edit a destination after it has been entered. The top line on the display has a field where you can assign a name to that destination.
