Navigation update difference

Hello i am from UAE and my English is so so
I had few questions about G80 2015 5.0 ultimate, the car is US spec and there are few weird stuff with the car.
1) i tried to change the car reading from mile/hour to kilometers/hour and i couldn't change it
2) the Bluetooth music doesn't let me fast forward saying its not available in this mode
3) from what i read in this forum the 9.2 screen doesn't get AA or CP which is sad i didn't like infotainment system (i could buy that dongle)

So my question is.. if i updated the navigation will it add more features and let me switch to kilometers/hour or it just update the US maps?

It should update the firmware along with the maps. As for changing from Imperial to Metric, I don't think the update will affect that.

No, adds nothing. Perhaps a dealer can change to metric for you. I'm surprised it is not simpel as my Buick 10 years ago you just pushed a button.

yeah its really weird, my friend 2009 Mercedes e280 can change from metric to imperial easily
