Need better all season tires

The Conti DWS 06 is good all-season tire and less pricey.

Good thread. I too have a 2012 4.6 and am in need of new tires. I also just picked up a set of rigid collars.

Looking for a decent tire that doesn't break the bank...somewhere in the $130 range that is quiet. I don't drive the car like I stole it and I never drive it in the snow.

Does such a tire exist?

If snow isn't a concern for you then you should be able to find quite a few decent options in that range. I've had good luck with Nexxen tires in the past (a bit noisey as the wore), Summitomo, kumho and Fuzion tires. With the exception of the Nexxens none of them were "world class" in any particular category but they all got the job done and were more then adequate for me personally. The 2 sets of Nexxen tires I ran were plus sized on summer wheels so they were rough riding as I expected with such thin side walls. But both sets I found to be quite exceptional in both wet and dry traction. I didn't mind the increased noise as they wore. Probably because I was 10-15 years younger and couldn't really hear them over my stereo anyway.
