  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have bought a gensis sedan 2009, but when it came i found out that it with out GPS, so how can I attach GPS to the screen in my car...
please advice

I think your only option is to purchase a Garmin or Tom Tom.

Can I connect Garmin or Tom Tom to AUX ? so it could appear in the screen

The Tech screen can display NTSC format video (NTSC = the United States analog TV format) which it uses when playing DVD movies. Since the non-Tech cars don't have DVD players (as far as I know) they probably don't have any video-in capability. The AUX port on Tech cars is left & right audio plus NTSC video so you can display stuff on the Tech screen - I've done it.

I'd be surprised if any Garmin/Tom-Tom/etc. had a TV-out port anyway since they need their touch-screens for user input. That certainly would not function through the Genesis AUX port.

You're not missing anything. For a couple of hundred dollars you can get a Garmin that's far superior to the Genesis' GPS.

He may not be able to buy a Garmin in his country. If he can, he must first make sure it works in his country. (I'm making the assumption that he is not in the US or Canada).

If he's in the Middle East, Garmins are available with mapping for the region...I have one!!
