  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just joined the forum and honestly at my last resort here, any help or guidance will be much appreciated.

I have a 2015 genesis 5.0 ultimate that I've owned for about 2 years now, never had any issues out of it until recently. Car has around 123k miles now and I'm in need of replacing the front struts, with the electronic dampening on the car, however I keep being told by the hyundai dealership that they discontinued those parts, I've looked at aftermarket and genuine parts but I've had absolutely no luck with a suitable application, my car is basically sitting at the dealership for the past month and I'm on the verge of trading it in on something new which I don't want to. If anyone can show me in the right direction or have any advice I would greatly appreciate it before I make this tough decision. Thanks looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Welcome! Just letting you know that this topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the second generation Genesis Sedan forum. :)

Welcome to the forum!!!

Sorry I have to tell you that the OEM replacement parts for the Genesis 5.0 ultimate model are very hard to find and usually on back-order or discontinued. To make matter worst; the car has almost no aftermarket part support.

The 2015 Genesis is a well made car, but it weakness is that it has very poor part support; even from the company that made it. Hence why the well known import car repair shops in my area do not even work on the Genesis models unless it is only basic oil changes or brake work.
