Need Help with Left Rear Door Handle

I jerked the LEFT REAR Door handle (2012 Genesis Sedan) too hard & it came off in my hand. Please see attached photos. The handle is mostly intact & the break is very clean. I need your sound advice on what glue/adhesive I can use to TRY and repair the break & simultaneously reinstall the handle on the outside of the door. The yellow arrow indicates where the break took place. The white photo with yellow arrow indicates the remaining piece above the break that is still inside the door. The blue arrow I use to reference my question as to 'HOW' I can try & reinsert the handle on the outside of the door. Does it snap back in place like it appears it may?
