I have a 2015 Genesis 3.8 sedan. i purchased Verde V39 Parallax wheels, 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 back. Aggressive offset, looks great. Pictures attached. Problem is the wheels are already turning a different color and bubbling. Poor quality not happy. Discount tire agreed to return or eat the cost of the wheels and get me another set. They have been great. So I chose the TSW Bathurst graphite this time with a 19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear. When they went to install them today, the fronts won't clear the caliper by 1/4 inch. I'm like really?

I know I have seen these wheels on this car in this forum. I really want to stay at the TSW quality level but not go above. Any ideas on if I can get the Bathurst to work with a stagger and if not what should I try next if i'm going a graphite color?

Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

When you say you have seen those wheels on this forum, could it possibly have been on a model year prior to 2015?

That's me! I run TSW bathursts. 20x9 +30 square setup. I could've run a 10.5 in the rear, just with a different offset. I chose to go square cause I'm a cheap bastid and like rotating my tires. I have no issues with caliper clearance. What offset are you trying to run? It might be too agressive.

Here is my thread: http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=17374

Thank you so much for the reply as this is helpful. I am trying to run 19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear. Not sure exactly of the offset but it was within the Hyundai specs 25-32. Discount is calling TSW on Monday so hopefully I'll know more. My suspicion is that I will have to go a wider wheel in the front. However, since they don't make an 19x8.5 for the front my only option would be a 19x9 front and 19.9.5 rear. That wouldn't make any sense to stagger because you couldn't see it. I want the staggered aggressive look. Might have to go with another wheel manufacturer.

Why don't you run a 9 in the front and a 10.5 in the rear? Everyone here who has a staggered setup runs that setup.

Thank you for your reply. I am certainly not opposed to that. TSW doesn't offer that wheel in that configuration. I'm happy to look at other companies but would prefer to stay with 19" wheels. Do you have any wheel companies you would recommend?

Edit, I just read one of your posts in another thread and saw where Vossen, Velgen TSW, Zenetti and Infinite Works were recommended. On elementwheels.com, I saw where the Rohana RC7 in Matte Graphite would work in a 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I don't know anything about this company. The color seems close to the TSW Bathurst. Do you think these would look good on the Genesis?

Made the change to TSW Bathurst - 20x9 front and 20x10 back. What do you think?

Are you lowered (ARK springs or otherwise)? Looking to find an example of TSWs on a G2 that isn't lowered as an example or inspiration to move forward. I have a 5.0 and worried about lowering with the heavier engine.

If you go with ARK GT-F springs on your 5.0, you won't have a problem at all

I did not lower. Thought the wheels filled out the fenders well enough.

What are the typical offsets/tire specs to run with this?

I'm looking at this (front first, rear second), but it's probably going to push too far out to the fenders, especially lowered...

Hmmm. Not sure exactly as I regrettably went with a square setup so I can rotate my tires. My 20x9 are +30. Huddleston, darekibmw, and xpo439 are just a few people I know off the top of my head that went staggered who might have better info for you.

If anything, try going to element wheels and see what they recommend. They have options to go staggered and will list what fits and how large you can go. Good luck!

You might get away with et20 on the front wheels, but I'm almost certain, the rear one will poke with such low offset.

Don't even think about lowering your car on ARK GT-S springs if you plan to get those wheels.

A few of us went with a staggered set F-9'' et35 and R-10.5'' et45

Awesome, thank you - the car's already lowered, and I was using the above as a hypothetical, it's not something I'm set on buying. But knowing that et35/et45 for sure works in the 9/10.5 staggered setup will be really helpful.

I assume you're lowered on GT-S springs...... even with et35 you might rub a little going on/off the driveways with the wheels turned all the way right/left. I know I was! but the front of V8 sits lower than V6 so, you should be ok (kinda, lol)
Don't worry about the rear, tho.... with et45 they don't rub at all.

Yeah, I'm on GT-S. If there's a little rubbing at low speeds, no big deal.

I hate to be a copycat but I'm loving the Velgens you have, they're definitely on the shortlist.
