  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have no idea how this happened but it honestly looks like someone shot my car with a pellet gun. I have a paint chip down to the metal, a small dent on the driver side rear window trim and small dent on the driver side rear door black pillar cover.

I have to see it every time I go in my car. It looks like SHIT.

Im going to order new parts but need some help to make sure i get the correct ones. As far as the paint goes, its in a awkward spot so some touch up paint should hide it good enough.

The black pillar is easy enough and luckily only 11$. The silver window trim is 70$. When I look at the parts diagram, it says the window trim comes in a satin finish and without satin finish. Im assuming I have the satin finish BUT what is the non-satin finish and which car does that come on?

Heres the parts diagram from http://hyundaiparts123.com/genesis-parts/
goto.....body hardware/rear door/exterior trim

I need numbers 2 and 3

And finally, any ideas on how to remove these parts?

Window black trim is not expensive at dealer. I had to do a repair on one of mine. remove with a hair dryer, repair dent with body filler, sand and paint with white primer, apply the new oem black vinyl.
