  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My ride needs a passenger side rear view mirror p/n 876213M450.
My local stealership costs something like $448 OTD.
Any one know or have used one before?
Thanks

EDIT Hyundai Parts Super store seems to have the best price but is it any good?

Piece of cake - go to google & key in the part No. -- lots of hits

One quote that pops up was $275

All of the online sites that sell OEM parts are actually Hyundai dealers. You might want to find one closest to you to keeping shipping charges down if you are buying some heavy stuff (but out of state to avoid sales tax). If you look around their website, you can figure out which Hyundai dealer it is (check the phone number, return shipping address, etc).

Not the cheapest but the fastest and reliable too which will work for me.
$323 shipped.
Thanks bud.
PS How's the new ride?

I rather pay extra few bucks and get my stuff from reliable sellers, which I always do.

The new ride is great! I don't look back :)

As I mentioned above, all the online full service OEM Hyundai parts dealers are Hyundai authorized dealerships that also sell online.

The only source of OEM Hyundai parts is HMA, and only Hyundai dealers can purchase from HMA (unless someone wants to get the parts from a Hyundai dealer outside of the USA, like the sellers on eBay, etc who get emblems and other stuff from Korean dealers).

As I said in my original post. I called at least several local dealers and they charge full MSRP plus tax and the kick is that none had it in stock so they'd have to order from either GA or CA.

@Mark
I meant to say, everything that I order online, not only car parts.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Man. This thread made me think about checking prices on a couple things. Factory parts are nuts. Not only does the "chrome" plating on the plastic bumper trim pieces bubble up and separate, but they're like $75 for each little end cap.... for a piece of plastic with a couple clips :( I miss my old beaters I pay cash for and don't worry about lol

If you were to buy all the parts needed for your car at the dealer parts department, the price would add up to about 5 times the MSRP of your car. That is partly due to the expense of ordering and stocking parts that may sit unsold for a long time (or never be sold), and partly because selling parts is major source of dealer profit.

Parts imported from Korea are going to cost more than if obtained in the USA.

JimEllisHyundai is my part store from now on.

I drove 200 miles to buy my my Rspec from Jim Ellis. They are one of the highest volume Hyundai dealers in America and i can see why...they price things to move. They sell a lot of Hyundai program cars...mine was driven by a Hyundai District Service Manager for about 3000 miles before they sold it as a used car. If you track their used car inventory on their website you'll see that they lower the price about $500/wk until it sells...nothing sits in their inventory for very long. A far cry from the stealerships around my town that keep the same overpriced used cars sitting on their lots for months and months waiting for a sucker to come along.

Try HyundaiOEMparts.com. They have good discounts on parts prices and were very prompt and professional.

Operated by Delray Hyundai in Southeast Florida.

All of the online websites that carry the full line of OEM parts are run by authorized Hyundai dealers.

If I lived in the northwest US, I would look to see if there is one located closer to me, that might keep shipping costs lower. But best to not have the dealer in the same state as you, to avoid them adding sales tax (they are required to collect sales tax to in-state purchases).

Part arrived on time.
Concur with Dereck.

That name comes up frequently around here. They are ones I purchased extended warranties for both of my Hyundai's . They had the best price at the time. Apparently they are a good source
