  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks like I have to remove the headlight assembly. No way to reach the bulb otherwise. I found the three bolts (I'm working on driver side) and removed them. Feels like something is holding in on the bottom but I can't see anything obvious. I loosened the bumper (but can't get it away from the bottom of the headlight assembly, afraid to yank too much as I don't want to break anything). Thoughts? TIA

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Figured it out. Basically there are two hinges on the bottom of the headlight assembly and you have to bang it loose forward. I'll post more details later when I have a good set of steps

ANy follow up? would like to upgrade my headlights as well.

I didn’t document the driver side change well and was waiting to do the passenger side. The passenger side all the still failed and I hadn’t found time to work on it
just some quick notes for you thank you do you have to release the top of the bumper that’s around the headlight in order for the headlight assembly to slide out After you remove the three bolts holding the headlight in from the top

By slide out I mean press hard on the back of headlight assembly horizontally wiggling little bit to get it to release the clips and it would then just pop out
I felt like I had to use more pressure on it that I was comfortable with at first.

After you get the headlight assembly out you can get to the two screws holding a bracket that holds the polls in place

I’ll try to add some pictures that may be helpful for you until I can forward document it

Applied heat to bumper to make it more pliable to snap out.
